Board Meeting, July 19, 2017
MINUTES FOR JUY 19, 2017 SAN ANTONIO OWNER’S ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING
Dawn Lucian opened the meeting at 7PM. All Board Members were in attendance: Bettina
Johnson, Peter Sturken, Joel Ross and Lynn Nichols.
Bettina Johnson gave the treasurer’s report:
Bettina reported that our Total Income is at 99.7% or $182,536 and Total Expenses at 91.7% or $138,393 which are normal for this time of our fiscal year due to the seasonality of some spending.
For example, under Administrative expenses 660 – Professional Fees We’ve “already” spent $4,107 on CPA services to tie up loose ends and close our books on FY 2015-16 and under Utilities 504 – Water our spending of $34 184 is over our $30,000 budget because if we get much or any rain, it’s usually doesn’t come until after the beginning of the new year.
OLD BUSINESS:
We discussed again remodeling the kitchen; it will be expensive, but probably worth it.
Karel agreed to get some bids for the work.
We discussed again the new lighting. Lynn agreed to spend time researching lighting
possibilities.
We decided to keep Rec Room lighting, as it is appropriate for the architecture.
We discussed airconditioners and standards for installing them: discuss with neighbor?
get approval from association? Create a new letter for homeowners regarding
requirements for installation?
NEW BUSINESS:
We agreed to remove the tree at 5106B and to replace that small grassy area with
a new parking space with that area needs.
We approved the request from a homeowners whose car was towed while her husband
was in the hospital. We will pay $150.00 to them.
We agreed to not meeting in August.
We adjourned at 7:40.
