Board Meeting, March 18, 2020

MINUTES FOR THE SAN ANTONIO VILLAGE OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION
MONTHLY MEETING ON MARCH 18, 2020

Dawn Lucian (President), Mike Porter (Vice President) and Daniel Ortiz (Secretary) were in attendance. Manager Karel de Veer, Maintenance Supervisor Kent Harris and 6 homeowners were also in attendance.
The meeting was called to order by Dawn Lucian at 7:04 P.M.
1) The minutes from the February 19, 2020 meeting were approved along with the February 2020 financial report/statements (submitted by Bettina Johnson).

2) Manager Karel de Veer discussed his preparation of the annual 2020-2021 budget and advised a final draft will be completed by end of April.

3) COVID-19 guidelines: CDC and other Santa Barbara County HOAs have closed their pools due to unknown transmissibility of the virus. SAV Board is following their precedents and will close our pool, spa, rec. room, bathrooms, locker rooms and saunas. The Board of Directors will await County, CDC and State guidance for re-opening safely and securely.

4) Architectural Change Request, 33A: add a window to south-facing wall — all framing would match east-facing wall of unit. All windows comply with village guidelines, therefore this is approved.

5) Architectural Change Request, 19B: professionally install galvanized wave bike rack, centered in their carport. Currently, owner doesn’t have any storage in their carport for bike, therefore this is approved.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be on 5.20.20 at 7:00pm
