Minutes for the San Antonio Village Owners’ Association Board of Directors
Monthly Meeting on April 20, 2022

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Diane Kirchner at 7:00 pm. Other Board members present were Ken Masuda (Secretary), Mike Porter (Treasurer), and John Carter (Member at Large); also present were Daniel Ortiz (Manager) and 12 homeowners.

1. Minutes of the March 16, 2022 Board meeting were approved (Mike Porter/Diane Kirchner).

2. Under Maintenance and Repair it was noted that a new fence has been installed near the kiddie pool and that the fob system for the Recreation Room will be installed within the next two months.

3. There was no financial report due to the SAV accountant having a broken ankle. A report for March and April will be presented at the next monthly Board meeting.

4. SAV 2022-23 Budget Review
a. Mike Porter presented the proposed budget, noting areas of significant increase including Insurance, Water, and Capital Reserves. After extensive review, the proposed budget for FY 2022-23 and a monthly homeowner fee of $490 (a $30 increase from the current fiscal year) was approved 3-1.

5. Architectural Change Request
a. Request by Unit 29A for three Solar Tubes was approved (Mike Porter/Ken Masuda).
It was requested that the following topics be added to the next month’s agenda:
• Home Solar Panels – Daniel
• Policy on Riding Electric Bicycles – Diane

The meeting was adjourned at 8:02 pm.
