Minutes for the San Antonio Village Owners’ Association Board of Directors
Monthly Meeting on November 15, 2023

The meeting was called to order by President Dawn Lucian at 7:00pm. Other board members present were Diane Kirchner (Vice President), Mike Porter (Treasurer), Cindy Capra (Secretary) and Emilie Dressaire (Member at Large). Also present were Daniel Ortiz (Manager) and 2 homeowners.

1. Approval of Minutes: A motion was made by Mike Porter and seconded by Dawn Lucian to approve the minutes of the prior meeting held on 10/18/2023.

2. The July 2023 through June 2024 fiscal year budget to actual was reviewed. The numbers are right on target at this time. A more detailed review of October 2023 financials was presented highlighting timing of expense issues. A motion was made and seconded (Dawn Lucian/Emilie Dressaire) to approve financials.

3. Daniel reviewed some items for the village:

a. Tile cleaning quote received for the complex community bathrooms. Two estimates were received ($1000 and $2900). A motion to approve the project and spend the money was made by Dawn and seconded by Mike.
b. Final financials for fiscal year ending June 2023 were presented. As indicated previously, the reserve allocation will be made and booked each month as a better reflection of the actual allocation of the village financial resources.
c. Welcome Guidance for New Residents Review:
i. Prospective tenants and homeowners should review/sign expectations for residents as part of the process.
ii. Suggest changing driving speed “crawl” to cautious speed.
iii. Perhaps put the guidance for new residents on the website.
iv. There was some discussion about the parking for a 3rd Household vehicle. It was suggested to take out the “one vehicle per person” because it depends if they have multiple spots assigned to their residence or not.
