SAN ANTONIO VILLAGE ASSOCIATION MINUTES FOR THE NOVEMBER 19, 2014 MEETING

1) Peter Sturken called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. In attendance were Joel Naftali, Secretary, and Bettina Johnson, Treasurer.

2) The October meeting minutes were approved.

3) Bettina Johnson gave the following financial report:

This financial report covers July 1 through October 31, 2014

Capital Fund
705 – Capital Maintenance is at 129% or $17,827 over budget because the Association-wide trim maintenance and paining project is progressing at a vigorous pace, faster the anticipated! Great news…..

Grounds/Landscaping
401 – Grounds-Materials is at 154% or $4,305 over budget because we’re still catching up with work planned for the last fiscal year but not scheduled until recently.

403 – Salaries-Grounds is at 83% or -$4,675 under budget because Alex Mora was out on Workman’s Comp (and has only recently returned to work).

Maintenance
470 – Pool is at 155% or $884 over budget due to the repair of equipment.

Utilities
502 – Gas is at 127% or $482 over budget because of this years longer warm weather season extending pool use. Generally pool heating ends when nighttime temperatures get down to 40 degrees.

NEW BUSINESS:
Cutting off heat to pool was approved.

Goleta Water District update: monitoring closely, have cut back on water consumption. After first of the year, will work with Goleta Water District on conservation, and they’ll offer some financial help.

ARCHITECTURAL REQUESTS:

Approved architectural change for 51B North San Marcos

OLD BUSINESS

Tabling the arbor for 5674B Calle Real

Ttabling awning compensation claim pending further discussion.

HOLIDAY PARTY WAS SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12TH

MEETING WAS ADJOURNED AT 7:30PM.
