SAN ANTONIO VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES FOR JUNE 21, 2017

The meeting of the San Antonio Village Board of Directors was called to order at 7:00PM. Dawn Lucian presided. Dawn Lucian, Bettina Johnson and Lynn Nichols were in attendance.

The Minutes for the May meeting were approved.

TREASURER’S REPORT FROM BETTINA JOHNSON:

At the end of May, the eleventh month of our SAV fiscal years, Total Income is at 100.2% or $672.925 and Total Expense at 94.1% or $569,201. The Income number is high because of the number of residence sales this Spring. Since it has already been reported that we have exceeded this year’s funding target contribution to our 30-years Capital Maintenance Fund, there is nothing else to report at this time.

TRANSFER OF FUNDS:

The Manager reported that the Association had too much money in Rabobank and that the funds were above FDIC insured amounts. The Board approved the transfer of funds to the Bank of Montecito and the Bank of the West to alleviate the problem.

The Board also approved the transfer of the funds at Community West Bank from a Money Market account into a Certificate of Deposit account.

ARCHITECTURAL CHANGES:

The Board approved a new solar tube for 5084 Calle Real #B to be installed by Tubular George.

RECREATION ROOM:

The Board approved work to be done to upgrade the recreation room. The ceiling will be painted white and the sliding doors across the room will be eliminated. The Board discussed alternative lighting in lieu of the hanging white ball fixtures – maybe lighting strips. New card tables and chairs have been purchased. An old couch has been removed. The manager will get estimates for redoing the kitchen and upgrading the closets.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING:

Lynn and Bettina will go to other upscale condos to check out their lighting choices, including
lighting for carports.

STREET MAINTENANCE:

The manager reported the project to slurry all streets in SAV is now scheduled for September.

The Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
